The world’s biggest selling whisky is not what one thinks. It is a “local” Indian brand called Bagpiper. The biggest “international” whisky is Johnnie Walker that comes third. Here is the top ten:

  1. Bagpiper, India
  2. Officer’s Choice, India
  3. Johnnie Walker, Scotland
  4. McDowell’s No.1, India
  5. Royal Stag, India
  6. Original Choice, India
  7. Jack Daniel’s, USA/Tennessee
  8. Old Tavern, India
  9. Ballantine’s, Scotland
  10. Imperial Blue, India, and in eleventh place:
  11. Jim Beam, USA, bourbon
