Sweden has once again a world champion sommelier. The last time it was Andreas Larsson, who won in 2007. Now it was Arvid Rosengren who triumphed in Mendoza, Argentina, on 19th of April. Another Swede, Robert Andersson, was a semi-finalist.
The sommelier competition is organized every three years by the Association de la Sommellerie Internationale. It is an extremely hard competition that the participants often prepare for during several years. And hence, having this title, the world’s best sommelier, is very prestigious.
