China imposes import duties on wine from Australia

Relations between China and Australia have been strained for some time. At the end of November, China imposed import taxes on Australian wines of up to 212%, a major blow to the Australian wine industry. China is a very important export market for the country, by far the largest in terms of value (however, the UK is the largest, by far, in volume). China accuses Australia of price dumping its wines, which Australia denies.
