Which are the best wine tour destinations?

The “best” wine travel destination is of course a matter of personal taste. If one wants impressive chateaux, famous names, beautiful landscapes, not yet discovered talents, innovative winemakers etc. Every wine region is different.

It is always interesting to see what others think are their preferred travel destinations. Recently we have seen two such top rankings:
