BKWine is a private company run by Britt Karlsson and her husband Per. We
work in the area of wine, travel and gastronomy. These are our main activities:
Wine tours and gastronomic tours.
We organise
wine tours
and gastronomic tourism. We have a published schedule of "open" tours but also
do custom designed tours for individuals, groups and companies.
Journalism and wine writing
We publish our own newsletters
The
BKWine Brief and VinNytt and we write for many different magazines on wine,
travel, food and gastronomy.
Photography
We have a large collection of photographs on wine, wine regions, winemakers
and also on travel, tourism and gastronomy. Many of the pictures, but far from
all, can be seen on this site. Many are also
available
for licensing through Alamy.
Events
We organise (and conduct) wine tastings, wine courses, and other kind of
wine and food related events. For individuals and for companies.
Consulting
We advice on wine related issues, for example, putting together a wine
list, how to develop a wine cellar, finding and selecting good wine producers,
how to package, position and market wines.
