The wine must come from the      communes Adissan, Aspiran, Caux, Font\u00e8s, Fouzilhon, Gabian,      Lieuran-Cabri\u00e8res, Montesquieu, Neffi\u00e8s, Nizas, Paulhan, P\u00e9ret, P\u00e9zenas,      Roujan, and Vailhan, all in the department l\u2019Herault. Permitted grape      varieties are Grenache Noir, Mourv\u00e8dre, Syrah, Carignan, and Cinsault.
