Men vi var inte d\u00e4r f\u00f6r att bada och sola, inte ens f\u00f6r att smaka vin. Vi var i Cascais d\u00e4rf\u00f6r att Gourmand World Cookbook Awards hade prisutdelning f\u00f6r 2024-\u00e5rs b\u00e4sta b\u00f6cker inom mat och dryck. Och vi vann f\u00f6rstapris f\u00f6r Framtidens vin i kategorin \u201dh\u00e5llbarhet\u201d och tredjepris i kategorin \u201dv\u00e4rldens b\u00e4sta vinbok\u201d. Att sedan Iberia slarvade bort v\u00e5rt bagage p\u00e5 v\u00e4gen hem gjorde inte s\u00e5 mycket. Vi var glada f\u00f6r v\u00e5ra fina priser!<\/strong><\/p><p>Gourmand Awards, eller som det ocks\u00e5 kallas, Gourmand International eller <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cookbookfair.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gourmand World Cookbook Awards<\/a>, \u00e4r nog v\u00e4rldens st\u00f6rsta t\u00e4vling f\u00f6r mat- och dryckeslitteratur. 2025 firade t\u00e4vlingen sitt trettio\u00e5rsjubileum. Det var i denna upplaga (2025) som priserna f\u00f6r 2024 delades ut. Tusentals b\u00f6cker fr\u00e5n runt hela v\u00e4rlden t\u00e4vlade om priser i olika kategorier. Vi var med i t\u00e4vlingen med v\u00e5r senaste bok, \u201dFramtidens vin\u201d.<\/p><p>Vi var givetvis sp\u00e4nda, nyfikna och nerv\u00f6sa n\u00e4r vi kom till Cascais. Hur skulle det g\u00e5? Skulle v\u00e5r bok \u201dFramtidens vin\u201d vinna n\u00e5got pris? Boken beskriver vad h\u00e5llbarhet verkligen inneb\u00e4r, i ett brett perspektiv. Med andra ord, om ekologisk vinproduktion, om milj\u00f6fr\u00e5gor inom vinodling, som t.ex. besprutning, om klimatfr\u00e5gor, t.ex. om vinproduktionens koldioxidavtryck, och mycket annat. Den tar \u00e4ven upp bredare fr\u00e5gor kring h\u00e5llbarhet, som ekonomisk och social h\u00e5llbarhet. H\u00e5llbarhet \u00e4r ett stort och komplicerat omr\u00e5den och boken ger l\u00e4saren kunskap och verktyg f\u00f6r att sj\u00e4lv kunna ta r\u00e4tt beslut n\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller vin och h\u00e5llbarhet. Den fullst\u00e4ndiga titeln \u00e4r <strong>\u201dFramtidens vin \u2014 h\u00e5llbart, ekologiskt, naturligt, milj\u00f6v\u00e4nligt\u201d.<\/strong><\/p><p>(H\u00e4r r\u00e5kade jag stava fel ursprungligen och texten blev en bok om \u201dh\u00e4llbart\u201d, men det passar ju ganska bra det ocks\u00e5. Det kanske kan bli en bra titel p\u00e5 en kommande bok, \u201dDet goda vinet, en bok om h\u00e4llbart vin\u201d?)<\/p><p><em><strong>L\u00e4s mer om boken i denna introduktion till den: <a Boken var \u00e4ven nominerad i kategorin \u201dBest of the best wine book\u201d, det b\u00e4sta av det b\u00e4sta, eller kanske b\u00e4ttre uttryckt p\u00e5 svenska <strong>\u201db\u00e4sta vinbok alla kategorier\u201d<\/strong>. Vi vann inte d\u00e4r men vi kom p\u00e5 tredje plats!<\/p><p>Evenemanget \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 ett tillf\u00e4lle att arrangera ett antal f\u00f6rel\u00e4sningar p\u00e5 olika tema som har med mat och dryck att g\u00f6ra. S\u00e5 i samband med prisceremonin hade Edouard Cointreau, den ansvarige arrang\u00f6ren p\u00e5 Gourmand, bett oss att g\u00f6ra en presentation av v\u00e5r verksamhet som vinresearrang\u00f6r. N\u00e4r vi t\u00e4nkte efter s\u00e5 gick det upp f\u00f6r oss att b\u00f6cker och vinresor har mycket gemensamt, det handlar om k\u00e4nslor och upplevelser.
