OIV (International Organisation of Vine and Wine) grundades f\u00f6r 100 \u00e5r sedan. Vi s\u00e4ger grattis till hundra\u00e5rsjubileet! OIV fyller en viktig funktion i vinv\u00e4rlden. Organisationen har idag 50 l\u00e4nder som medlemmar, med andra ord de flesta av v\u00e4rldens vinproducerande l\u00e4nder.<\/p>

Organisationen \u00e4r baserad i Dijon i Bourgogne och arbetar med bl.a. tekniska fr\u00e5gor och f\u00f6rordningar och andra relevanta fr\u00e5gor f\u00f6r vinbranschen, d.v.s. allt som \u00e4r fundamentalt vad g\u00e4ller tillverkning och regler f\u00f6r vinbranschen. OIV publicerar ocks\u00e5 vinv\u00e4rldens mest p\u00e5litliga statistik om druvor, ving\u00e5rdsareal, produktion, sk\u00f6rderapporter osv.<\/p>

OIV sj\u00e4lv kan inte best\u00e4mma, det \u00e4r en \u201dmellanstatlig organisation\u201d som f\u00f6rlitar sig p\u00e5 medlemsl\u00e4ndernas kompetens och myndigheter. Men de fungerar som ett forum f\u00f6r medlemsl\u00e4nderna f\u00f6r att ta beslut om gemensamma regler och normer och kan \u00e4ven komma med r\u00e5d och rekommendationer. Resultatet blir att de flesta l\u00e4nder p\u00e5 det s\u00e4ttet enas om b\u00e4sta praxis.<\/p>
