Den tyska \u00e5rliga ProWein Business Report tar detta \u00e5r upp problematiken med den sjunkande vinkonsumtionen i v\u00e4rlden. Det finns m\u00e5nga anledningar till att folk dricker mindre vin, till exempel h\u00e4lsorekommendationer, ekonomin och inte minst sv\u00e5righeten att f\u00f6rst\u00e5 sig p\u00e5 vin. Vinindustrin \u00e4r fragmenterad som f\u00e5 andra industrier. Att det finns mycket vin \u00e4r en styrka men naturligtvis ocks\u00e5 en svaghet.<\/p>

\u201dAndra alkoholdrycker har en mindre elitistisk image och n\u00e5r d\u00e4rf\u00f6r s\u00e4rskilt unga konsumenter b\u00e4ttre\u201d, p\u00e5pekar rapporten som anledning till att unga m\u00e4nniskor hellre dricker \u00f6l eller cocktails \u00e4n vin.<\/p>

Det \u00e4r olyckligt att vinindustrin i vissa konsumenters \u00f6gon har kvar en elitistisk framtoning. Men i m\u00e5ngt och mycket har den sig sj\u00e4lv att skylla. Det finns det en uppsj\u00f6 av marknadsf\u00f6rare, sommelierer och f\u00f6rvisso vinskribenter som g\u00f6r sitt b\u00e4sta f\u00f6r att s\u00e4tta vinet p\u00e5 en piedestal och att f\u00e5 det att l\u00e5ta kr\u00e5ngligt att v\u00e4lja vin till mat.<\/strong><\/p>

Inte konstigt att en del hellre v\u00e4ljer en Tuborg. Kanske inte \u201dhvergang\u201d, men ofta nog.<\/p>
