I flera europeiska vindistrikt har svampsjukdomar i ving\u00e5rden varit ett stort problem i sommar. Sv\u00e5ra attacker av inte minst mildiou kan vara k\u00e4mpiga att klara med enbart ekologisk besprutning (allts\u00e5 koppar). N\u00e5gra f\u00e5 procent avs\u00e4ger sig sin ekologiska certifiering varje \u00e5r, eller avslutar sin konvertering.<\/p>

Det kan bero p\u00e5 de inte klarar sjukdomarna utan syntetisk besprutning men det kan ocks\u00e5 vara att de tycker att ekologiskt \u00e4r sv\u00e5rare \u00e4n de trodde, att det blir dyrare utan att de kan h\u00f6ja priset p\u00e5 sina viner.<\/p>

Men trots allt \u00e4r det inte s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga som \u00e5terg\u00e5r till konventionell odling. De flesta, n\u00e4r de v\u00e4l best\u00e4mt sig f\u00f6r att bli ekologiska, h\u00e5ller ut. Siffror i Bordeaux till exempel visar att enbart 3\u20134 % av de ekologiska odlarna \u00e5terg\u00e5r till konventionell odling varje \u00e5r.<\/p>
