Inte minst Riverland i South Australia \u00e4r drabbat och hela 32 % av Australiens vindruvor kommer h\u00e4rifr\u00e5n.<\/p><p>Riverland \u00e4r en j\u00e4ttelik jordbruksregion (n\u00e4stan lika stor som Sk\u00e5ne, men med 35 000 inv\u00e5nare) d\u00e4r man odlar vindruvor, citrusfrukter, mandlar med mera, allting med hj\u00e4lp av vatten fr\u00e5n Murray River.<\/p><p>Problemen f\u00f6r odlarna har kommit slag i slag. 2021 kom Kinas straffavgifter p\u00e5 australiensiskt vin och \u00e5ret efter kraftiga \u00f6versv\u00e4mningar som h\u00f6ll turisterna borta. 2023 sedan varit ett sjukdoms\u00e5r utan motstycke.<\/p><p>Ett stort problem \u00e4r \u00f6vergivna ving\u00e5rdar som man tror sprider sjukdomar eftersom ingen tar hand om dem och vid behov sprutar mot t.ex. svampsjukdomar eller andra parasiter. De kan fungera som reservoarer f\u00f6r dessa angrepp. Vinorganisationer kr\u00e4ver nu en lag\u00e4ndring som g\u00f6r det till\u00e5tet att bespruta f\u00f6rsummade ving\u00e5rdar utan \u00e4garens tillst\u00e5nd.<\/p><p>I m\u00e5nga fall f\u00e5r man inte ens tag p\u00e5 \u00e4garna. Men att g\u00f6ra det idag skulle kunna betraktas som kemiskt intr\u00e5ng enligt en milj\u00f6skyddslag fr\u00e5n 1993. (Detta \u00e4r ett allvarligt problem \u00e4ven i andra l\u00e4nder, t.ex.
