Bakgrunden \u00e4r att ett domstolsbeslut i oktober 2020 f\u00f6rbj\u00f6d Winefinder att marknadsf\u00f6ra alkoholdrycker f\u00f6r f\u00f6rs\u00e4ljning och hemleverans till svenska konsumenter. Domstolsbeslutet var en f\u00f6ljd av att Systembolaget hade st\u00e4mt Winefinder i patent- och marknadsdomstolen (PM\u00d6D) f\u00f6r olaglig f\u00f6rs\u00e4ljning av alkohol till svenskar. Winefinder \u00f6verklagade beslutet f\u00f6r pr\u00f6vning i n\u00e4sta instans, Patent- och marknads\u00f6verdomstolen, som nu allts\u00e5 d\u00f6mde i Winefinders fav\u00f6r.
