Ch\u00e2teau Fourcas-Hosten \u00e4r ett av v\u00e5ra favoritslott i M\u00e9doc. Fina, klassiska Bordeaux-viner till ett pris man knappt trodde var m\u00f6jligt l\u00e4ngre i M\u00e9doc. En anledning \u00e4r s\u00e4kert att slottet r\u00e5kar ligga i Listrac, en appellation som knappast har m\u00f6jlighet att ta samma h\u00f6ga priser som de mer k\u00e4nda Pauillac, Margaux etc. F\u00f6r n\u00e5gra \u00e5r b\u00f6rjade Fourcas-Hosten arbeta ekologiskt och har nu beslutat att st\u00e4lla om till biodynamisk odling.<\/p>\n

Sophie Solnicki-Thierry \u00e4r marknadschef och hon ber\u00e4ttar att de inf\u00f6rt ekologisk odling i omg\u00e5ngar p\u00e5 slottets 48 hektar. Den lilla arealen med gr\u00f6na druvor var f\u00f6rst ut och f\u00f6r det vita Le Blanc de Fourcas Hosten blir 2020 den f\u00f6rsta \u00e5rg\u00e5ngen med ekologisk certifiering. De bl\u00e5 druvorna \u00e4r under konvertering sedan 2018. Ch\u00e2teau Fourcas Hosten och andravinet Les C\u00e8dres d\u2019Hosten f\u00e5r sin certifiering 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201dVi b\u00f6rjade experimentera med biodynamisk odling p\u00e5 16 hektar 2018\u201d, s\u00e4ger Sophie. \u201doch vi fortsatte 2019 p\u00e5 samma areal.\u201d Arbetet g\u00e5r nu vidare p\u00e5 hela egendomen under ledning av slottets nye VD Eloi Jacob.<\/p>\n
