Permitted grape varieties are Grenache (minimum 50%) and Syrah (min 25%), with the rest being made up of other varieties permitted in C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne. Maximum yield is 38 hl\/ha (\u201drendement de base\u201d) and harvest must be manual. Beaume de Venise thus joins the group of \u201ccru appellations\u201d in Rh\u00f4ne (Chateauneuf du Pape, Gigondas, Lirac, Tavel, Vacqueyras, Ch\u00e2teau Grillet, Condrieu, Cornas, C\u00f4te-R\u00f4tie, Crozes Hermitage, Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Saint-Peray).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>INAO has approved Beaume de Venise as a new AOC.
