Det var p\u00e5 en provning med ett antal Champagne-producenter som alla hade provat p\u00e5 att f\u00f6rsluta sina champagner med en kork kallad Mytik, som \u00e4r Diams motsvarighet f\u00f6r mousserande viner. Nyligen l\u00e4ste vi i <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vitisphere.com\/breve-59641-Roussillon-Diam-Bouchage-soigne-son-marketing-territorial.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vitisphere<\/a>\u00a0 att f\u00f6retaget Diam Bouchage nu st\u00e5r f\u00f6r 5 % av v\u00e4rldsmarknaden f\u00f6r f\u00f6rslutning av vinflaskor och forts\u00e4tter att \u00f6ka.<\/p>\n<p>Vad \u00e4r d\u00e5 den stora f\u00f6rdelen med Diam? Jo, att man i stort sett \u00e4r garanterad att inte r\u00e5ka ut f\u00f6r korkskadade viner. Trots att det \u00e4r en naturkork. Korken genomg\u00e5r n\u00e4mligen en patenterad process kallad Diamant-processen, som effektivt l\u00e4r ta d\u00f6d p\u00e5 TCA.<\/p>\n<p>Metoden inneb\u00e4r att man behandlar korken med superkritisk koldioxid. Korken smulas f\u00f6rst s\u00f6nder och det \u00e4r smulorna som behandlas. Smulorna trycks sedan samman till en kork som kan f\u00e5s i olika l\u00e4ngder (38-48 mm) beroende p\u00e5 vilken typ av vin man ska anv\u00e4nda den till. Diam blir ett alternativ f\u00f6r de producenter som inte vill riskera korkskador men som samtidigt vill f\u00f6rsluta sina viner med naturlig kork.<\/p>\n<p>Nackdelen \u00e4r att Diam\/Mytik \u00e4r en agglomererad kork och det syns. Den \u00e4r inte lika stilig som en utstansad kork av h\u00f6g kvalitet. Tittar man p\u00e5 en Diam\/Mytik kan man till och med tro att det \u00e4r en syntetisk kork. N\u00e4sta g\u00e5ng ni undrar, titta efter om det st\u00e5r Diam p\u00e5 korken.<\/p>\n<p>Diam Bouchage har sitt huvudkontor i staden Ceret i Roussillon och anv\u00e4nder faktiskt en del kork fr\u00e5n lokala korkekar i Roussillon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Har du sett en Diam i en flaska n\u00e5gon g\u00e5ng?
