We have talked about their suggested classification of Graves here before. Now they have taken on the ultimate in classifications: the 1855 classification of Bordeaux (M\u00e9doc, in practice) that celebrates its 150th anniversary this year (definitely past its best-before date). As always, RVF has interesting opinions. For example, these are the chateaux they think should be elevated to classed today (and was not included in 1855):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ch\u00e2teau Sociando-Mallet,<\/li>\n<li>Bel Air Marquis d\u2019Aligre,<\/li>\n<li>Haut-Marbuzet,<\/li>\n<li>de Pez, Gloria,<\/li>\n<li>Les Ormes de Pez,<\/li>\n<li>Ph\u00e9lan S\u00e9gur,<\/li>\n<li>Poujeaux,<\/li>\n<li>Chasse-Spleen,<\/li>\n<li>Meyney,<\/li>\n<li>Potensac,<\/li>\n<li>Siran, and<\/li>\n<li>Tour du Haut Moulin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are the \u201cupgraded\u201d chateaux (the number of notches in parenthesis):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>L\u00e9oville-las-Cases (1),<\/li>\n<li>Lynch-Bages (3),<\/li>\n<li>Palmer (1),<\/li>\n<li>Branaire-Ducru (1),<\/li>\n<li>Grand-Puy-Lacoste (2),<\/li>\n<li>Pontet-Canet (2),<\/li>\n<li>Clerc-Milon (1), and<\/li>\n<li>du Tertre (1).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And those that the RVF thinks should no longer be a classed growth:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Camensac,<\/li>\n<li>Croizet-Bages,<\/li>\n<li>Desmirail,<\/li>\n<li>Grand Puy Ducasse,<\/li>\n<li>Lynch Moussas, and<\/li>\n<li>Pedesclaux.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interesting reading.
