Eller mineralighet. Sv\u00e5rt att veta vad det ska heta p\u00e5 svenska. Och lika sv\u00e5rt att beskriva vad man menar n\u00e4r man s\u00e4ger att ett vin \u00e4r mineraligt. Vinprovare i alla l\u00e4nder anv\u00e4nder ordet nuf\u00f6rtiden. F\u00f6rr anv\u00e4nde man det aldrig. Det har liksom dykt upp de senaste \u00e5ren och man undrar hur man beskrev dessa viner f\u00f6rr i tiden. Eller \u00e4r smaken, liksom ordet, en ny f\u00f6reteelse?<\/p>\n<p>Kemif\u00f6retaget Lallemand har gjort en intressant unders\u00f6kning som tidningen La Vigne (nr 239) skriver om i sitt senaste nummer. Lallemand har tittat p\u00e5 ett stort antal provningsanteckningar gjorda av amerikanska Wine Spectator och konstaterat att 10 % av kommentarerna inneh\u00e5ller ordet \u201dmineralitet\u201d. Ordet f\u00f6rekommer oftare \u00e4n ekat, fruktigt och blommigt. Liknande resultat blev det f\u00f6r den engelska tidningen Decanter och deras provningsanteckningar.<\/p>\n<p>Men n\u00e4r provare ska f\u00f6rklara vad de menar med ordet och var de tror mineraliteten kommer ifr\u00e5n, ja, d\u00e5 blir det sv\u00e5rt. Ingen vet, \u00e4ven om de flesta tror att den kommer fr\u00e5n jorden.<\/p>\n<p>Sj\u00e4lva tycker vi att mineralitet ger en livlighet till vinet, en viss sk\u00e4rpa, n\u00e5got som g\u00f6r att man inte tr\u00f6ttnar p\u00e5 vinet. Ett vin som vi beskriver som mineraligt har en fin syra och en viss stramhet.
