That delicious sounding desert was the winner in the Roussillon Dessert Trophy, served together with AOC Rivesaltes Domaine Gauby Caricia 2005. The winning entry was created by Thibaut Panas and Anne Coquellin from Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saison in England. They beat teams from e.g. Belgium, Germany, France and Denmark. The competition wants to promote successful combinations of dessert with sweet and fortified wines (primarily from the Roussillon, of course).
