Livingstone-Learmont wins prize for Rhône bible

It’s a brick of a book, but then it contains just about everything you might want to know on northern Rhône wines – written by John Livingstone-Learmont. That’s his latest book but he has previously written others and many, many wine articles on Rhône wines. He has now been decorated with the Albert Golay prize 2009 for his contribution to Rhône wine fame (for the brick and the rest). The prize was created to honour the memory of the best French sommelier 1976.
