Merete Larsen, originally from Denmark, has a long
experience of making wine in Bordeaux. For twenty years she made wine at
the Grand Cru Classé Château Belgrave in Médoc. Since 2002 she is
responsible for Château Lestage-Simon in Médoc. At the wine fair she
presented her first vintage, as barrel samples with plenty of fruit.
Merete also showed another Médoc wine, Château d’Escurac that is owned and
managed by her husband.
