Château Mourgues de Gres, in Beaucaire, is owned by the Collard couple. François Collard trained as oenologist (wine maker) and worked for some time at the famous wine estate Château Lafite-Rothschild. The 35 hectare wine property is close to the Rhone river and has deservedly received attention for its wines, full of character and individuality. The wines have for example become very popular at some Paris wine bars.

The wood ageing cellar   Baby-vines recently delivered from the producer. Delivered in plastic sacs, to keep the humidity, and kept in the dark cellar until it is time to plant. The red is a protective wax cover on the grafted part. "Syrah, 25 greffes soudés"   "Caveau de dégustation"
