Château Belgrave, 5ème Grand Cru Classé en 1855, Haut-Médoc
A small but pretty wine chateau, classed 5th growth in 1855 The building itself was
constructed in the 18th century. The wine estate covers some 55 hectares of
vines just on the border to Saint Julien. It is managed by the Dourthe company
who has recently invested substantial sums in the wine making facitlites in
order to bring the wines up one more notch in quality.
