Some sites we like to visit
We are platform agnostic so we do not really care if a site is a “blog” or not. If there is interesting information it is worth visiting.
- The Wine Economist
Mike Vesth is an economist who writes about wine. Often very interesting blog posts with a business or economist angle. He also has a talent for finding excellent information sources on the wine business.
- Able Grape – the wine information search engine
A search engine developed by Doug Cook. Doug puts in a tremendous amount of work (we imagine) in manually organising many of the information source. the search engine takes some getting used to – it is not as easy as Google. We sometimes struggle with finding the information we want but it is definitely something you should try!
- Dr Vino’s wine blog
Dr Vino is Tyler Colman, Ph.D. with a dissertation on the political economy of the wine industry in France and the United States that he also turned into a book (see our book review section!). It’s one of the most read blogs in the US (perhaps). Often original, sometimes thought-provoking. And occasionally investigative digging wine journalism at it’s terrier best. Not afraid to have an opinion.
- Vino Tinto by Magnus Reuterdahl
One of the few Swedish wine bloggers that we have met.
